Music and art in nature" is a central theme at Full Moon Resort. Music is always in the air, with summer shows in the Concert Tent, parties and dances in Performance Space, acoustic performances in the Café, and sessions in the Workshop Barn.
Each music event (festival, seminar, workshop and retreat) is designed to integrate the vision of the host artist or group with the comprehensive services that Full Moon has to offer. Along with the music, event packages include superb catering, comfortable country inn accommodations, camping and access to Full Moon’s one hundred acres of picturesque grounds. Such events offer artists and attendees alike the unique opportunity to spend quality time together at this lovely farm-like, mountain resort – sharing in the music, whether the setting is a concert, workshop or an impromptu jam on the porches or around the campfire.
The current schedule
includes summer workshops with Medeski, Martin and Wood (internationally acclaimed Jam Jazz trio) and Jorma Kaukonen, (world-renowned guitarist for Hot Tuna and Jefferson Airplane).

Performance Space

Acoustic jam sessions on the lawns and porches are a mainstay at Full Moon’s music events… oftentimes with attendees and artists joining in together. During evening hours, glowing embers rise to the stars at impromptu sessions around the campfire. Guests are always encouraged to bring instruments.
